Hey, Sanmar! I was looking on eBay to see what my wedding china is doing these days. It's "Apart" by Hutschenreuther. I see that you're selling a cup and saucer, and it's the only piece in that pattern on eBay. Do you have a lot of that pattern, or is this is the only piece? Just curious.
I've started using the plates everyday, NEVER use the cups and saucers, rarely use the serving pieces. I keep wondering if I should divest myself of them or save them as a set. ~Adele

I have 8 cups & saucers &12 salad plates. The rest of the set was shippped to Replacements Ltd. They dodn't want these pieces. They are in excellent condition. If you are interested in several pieces, let me know what you are interested in & I will make you a deal. Anything I get from these pieces is just gramy as I did well on the pieces I sent to Replacements. Sorry for the delay, but I had a colonoscopy yester about noon & was out of it for the rest of the day. No daxx fun!!

Sanmar, I also have a question. How do you go about selling china to Replacements? I have a set of china in very good condition, Replacements has a few pieces offered. Do you do better selling to them than putting it on eBay? I would appreciate any help.

Yikes,a colonoscopy! But I've heard they're easier these days. . . .
I'm truly not looking for more pieces in Apart, Sanmar. Wish I were. It's the old story with china these days, isn't it? Nobody wants the cups and saucers! We've graduated to big mugs, larger cups, etc., and usually don't serve tea or coffee with meals. I have a vision of this entire planet covered in unwanted cups and saucers.
Lone saucers without the cups are even more pathetic. Might as well break 'em up and tile the counter with them.

I've sold china to Replacements. You get the bottom dollar on them. Check their website and see what they charge when they sell them. Also you have to pay the shipping and insurance.
Email them and tell them what you have and ask for a quote, or better yet you can call them.

I have sold to Replacements for the past 12 years & have made good money. You have to mnow your china & be selective on what you buy. I am well known on the Central Coast of CA from Ventura to Paso Robles. I get calls fro antique shops telling me they have XX pattern & am I interested.. My greatest "steal
" wqs at an estate sale abiut 4 years ago. There was a huge set of Royal Crown Derby "Traditinal Imari" & a set of RCD "Blue Mikad" The man running the sale had a price of $850.00 on the Imari, $450.00 om the Mikado. He said that several dealers had been earlier & the best offer was $500.00 for the Imari. I offered him $1100.00 for both sets & he took it. The Imari had a pair of 11 in candle sticks & a coffee pot plu several other serving piece. The candle sticks & coffee pot brought $1400.00!! I grossed over $6000.00 for all of it on eBay
