.....When they glue several different woods together to make a knife rack? Laminating is in my head, but I don't think that's correct.

Thanks. It's kind of in that style. It's one of those old, wall-mount ones. I picked it up because I thought the woods were beautiful. There are 5 or 6 different ones. Came from an old farm estate auction.
