And so blatant! Starts at 1 cent, and $235 shipping is STATED as the cost of 4 yearly passes. If eBay doesn't stop this one, there's something wrong.

My response from one of my non selling ebay ids to this being reported. I usually don't report things but this one stunk to high heaven..... & what Minniestuff said too.
From ebay: Hey looks like they are going to start some more new stuff on ebay violations soon according to this email I got yesterday.
////////////////
Thank you for taking the time to report this listing for violation of
our Excessive Shipping Charges policy.
As you may know, eBay committed to enforcing this policy more
aggressively starting June 19. It will take some time before this
initiative is fully up and running -- in the short term, we've begun
enforcing the most obvious and egregious violations of our Excessive
Shipping Charges policy. Over time, our enforcement will expand to
include more violations. Therefore, it's possible we won't immediately
take action on the report you've submitted -- rest assured, however,
that we plan to stop this practice on eBay, and that your reporting this
violation is an important step toward achieving that goal.
We very much appreciate your help in identifying sellers who you believe
are charging excessively for shipping and would ask that you continue to
report to us. We can only clean up this problem by working together.
Thanks again for taking the time to report this listing to us.
Regards,
The eBay Community Watch Team

You blame him , why should he pay e bay anything after all EBAY REPORTED LAST YEAR 12 Billions in profit .
I would do the same think all day long if could to avoid KEEP MAKING E BAY EXECUTIVES MILLIONS OF $$$ IN salaries.
What e bay is giving us other than fee increase I THINK THEY SHOULD stop charging LISTING FEE AND JUST CHARGE FINAL VALUE FEE and stop charging us all the other none sense fees that we pay Gallery and BIN fee

By my calculations eBay lost $11.01 in listing and final value fees. How the poor eBay shareholders must suffer!!!

<< EBAY REPORTED LAST YEAR 12 Billions in profit .>>
Ummmm....Actually their total sales were $4,552,400,000. Their net profit was $1,082,000,000. If you have reliable information they made a profit of 12 billion, but only reported 1 billion, then by all means report them to the IRS. You will get a 10% reward for all the evaded taxes they collect.
Ebay's rules on excessive shipping charges and fee circumvention are up front and easy to understand. You agreed to abide by their rules when you registered. If you don't intend to, you should ask them to cancel your account.

If you took $11.01 and multiplied it by at least 1/4 of the listings just saying maybe 1/4 of the sellers on ebay are super overcharging for shipping fees then YES you would have a very big shareholder profit loss.. Mind you I am not saying that 1/4 are crooks as I would have no way of knowing that number, but I have seen many many many way over charged shipping rates being charged on ebay. Fact is I find more over charged shipping rates than I find normal reasonable shipping charges.. In the past Ebay did nothing really to stop them even reported ones. So maybe they are going to look more carefully at the ones reported. I am betting they have to be reported in order to have this practice stopped by unscrupulous sellers.
In fact it would not hurt to institute a fine- money fine for this. But that would be hard to enforce fairly so guess that is out of the question. Who is to say how much materials cost on certain items to ship. I try very hard to recycle and get 95% of all shipping materials for free. Very seldom do I have to buy them, as I have lots of resources found for getting peanuts, styrofoam, foam padding, bubble wrap and air bags, boxes plastic bags, all that stuff. I buy tape and glue that is about it other than printing supplies and paper, which I count as business expense not a pass on to customers. I seldom charge over 50 cents extra on shipping handling and if I do overcharge by over a dollar then I refund with money in their package or by paypal partial refund.
Fact is today I lost $2.00 on shipping on a package with UPS. There is a world of difference in Charges by UPS and Fed Ex. I usually always use Fed Ex for large or heavy packages and today the Fed Ex web site was down so I could not print label for a package that had to go today so used UPS and it was higher in rates than Fed Ex would have been. But that happens sometimes I guess to everyone along the shipping line. LOL

When I ran this guys feedback through the neutral and negative site this was his response to the only person who has left him negative feedback...
"The most stupid ebay I've ever dealed with. Don't even understand ebay's policy"
Who doesn't understand ebays policies here?? He does not speak English very well or he can't spell... but he has that fee avoidance thing DOWN!!!!

well the tickets are still listed, don't you just love the efficient fast ebay responses to any reports they get. What a joke. But they will cancel an auction for a less infraction more obscure in their policy in a heartbeat. OH well ----- Maybe we should all list stuff for a penny with exorbitant shipping. Kidding! Besides we would be the ones made an example of.

Yup, ebay sure seems in a hurry to enforce their overpriced shipping policy. LOL! I have reported this listing 6 times in the last two day's using 3 different ebay user ID's and it's still there.

I can't believe that on 2 different occasions I inadvertantly included a word in my descriptions and on each occasion Ebay zapped them in less than 24 hours, yet they're too busy to take action against this one. Sort of leads one to believe this seller may have a friend or relative working for Ebay.

Pixia posted on the store sellers board and it was down a couple of hours later. I guess ebay has to be embarassed into taking these down.
