No, I don't want automatic payments. When I try to pay down my feeBay account I get: Excessive Payments
Additional payments are not allowed at this time, please try again later

I don't want the automated payments either and I hate that, I use to pay on my E-Bay bill weekly out of my Paypal now I can't do that anymore which sucks.

They just take my fees out of my Paypal every month, that way I get cash back paying fees with my Paypal card. Got to have a premium or business account to do that but saves a few cents. If I had to pay them myself I would always forget to do it.

I pay by either direct debit from a high-yield deposit account for ebay.co.uk or from a credit card for ebay.com which kicks back 0.5% to me. Never ever use PayPal to pay eBay as you have no recourse in event of a problem, as you would with an unassociated credit card.
I'm still waiting for Google to announce when they launch their credit/debit cards

Update: received a response from feeBay- they pointed the finger to PayPal and said the problem has been fixed (it hasn't - and it's definitely an eBay error message)

How about Discover and many Visa account now. Plus you have protection with the credit cards where you don't have a lick with PayPal. agitprop has it right. Never, ever use PayPal to pay your ebay fees!!!

Umm, last time I checked PayPal did not issue the card. The back of mine CLEARLY sais it was issued by Bank One of Indiana and is licensed by Master Card Internaional. It may have the PayPal logo on the front and the funds may come from your PayPal account but it is managed by a bank and handled just like any other credit/debit card.
