in the payment options to include accepting personal checks and money orders.

here is the deal. I started a new user ID for item specific where I want to include other payment options besides Paypal. I am in the perferences area in My Ebay but can only find info on Paypal. Yet, on my listing page of my original ID, I can see at the bottom that it states personal checks or mo. I have searched and searched and ready to start pulling out my hair.
can anyone help me this morning?

No, not as much these days, only if I need to profile the item with many pics.

I know that this a place to put that info so it shows up when I send my invoice thru Ebay. I just can not find it anywhere.

With Vendio it's under My Account - Global Preferences.
I'm getting ready to do a listing with my other ID directly on ebay - I'll see if I can find it. I didn't see it on My Ebay page.
They don't make it easy - do they???

No Lady J, Ebay doesn't make it easy these days. I did look in the preferences section which only contains information on Paypal of course. I know that there has to be an area where you can add that info.

mama:

I believe what yer lookin fur is ONLY on the SELL-YOUR-ITEM page!

If memory serves, it's page 3 -- you get to choose PAYPAL plus all the other choices -- such as MONEY ORDER, CHECKS, SEE ITEM DESCRIIPTION; VISA MC, etc...

I don't THINK ye can do it globally within feeBay, but I have no clue what you can or cannot do with VD...I don't have VD, I launch direct from feeBay...

I'm pretty sure Tom is correct - I don't list w/o Vendio very often but that's what I recall too. I'm trying to do one now w/o Vendio and it's taking forever.
Global Preferences is only with Vendio - much easier to find.

Tom & Lady J,
If I go to a current listing page, at the very bottom, it shows my acceptable payment options. yet, I have searched in My Ebay preferences to no avail where I can't find a dang thing on how to add these other choices.
In my new user ID, it will only show paypal, which of course, not everyone uses.

"I have searched in My Ebay preferences to no avail where I can't find a dang thing on how to add these other choices."

Mama: THAT'S EXACTLY what I'm saying-- it tain't in "PREFERENCES" but rather on the "SELL-YOUR-ITEM" form when you pick ALL the payment options you will offer for a particular listing!

Methinks ye have to to it ITEM BY ITEM!

Thanks Tom & Mr. Ralphie, I will look at the sell-your-item form more closely when I list on my new ideas as this have given me a headache.

It's weird. You set it up on one item and it shows up on MOST of the rest.
