Hi...I just got a new computer and the images I've stored in Vendio USED to be in alphabetical order. Now, they're in reverse order...a relatively minor problem but would like to get it fixed. Can anyone tell me how? Thanks!

Click on "file name" above your first image on the image page. If it doesn't come up the way you want the list, click on "file name" again. That always takes care of it for me. Who knows why that happens sometimes--but it does. Gremlins, I guess.

Your new computer is installed upside down. That's what's causing the file names to be reversed. The pictures will also attach to your auction upside down. Turn the computer right side up on its feet like it should be and it will clear up the problem.

Thanks, Roadsmith...that did the trick...guess the little gray triangle pointing up or down indicates the alphabetical order...appreciate the help. I've upgraded from Windows 95 to Windows XP and will convert to high speed (as opposed to dial-up) next week. Everyone says I'll be thrilled but figure it's going to take me another 6 months to figure out everything on the new computer and where everything is. Call me old-fashioned but I DO miss the "comfort" of Windows 95...but hope to be singing a different song shortly...Thanks again!

I'm in the same boat as you; I'm dragged kicking and screaming into each new step with my computer. I loved Windows 95, but now am sold on XP. Over my (stupid) objections we got DSL just a few months ago, and I'm more efficient listing auctions now because everything works faster.

That said, fairly frequently I have to rearrange my images in Vendio anyway. Who knows how they get out of order?!

Edited to change "not" to "now" above. Yikes.

I'm hoping to be enthusiastic about the new programs. My problem now is with images. I had a program (before my digital camera...I had Kodak put photos on disk)...that created a program on my main menu (PicDisk or something like that)...computer guy said he couldn't transfer programs...Anyway...I'm trying to put a photo on disk drive (I bought the separate drive) and load the photo to Vendio directly from disk drive A (the floppy). It stayed in "pending" forever so I'm thinking maybe the image was too big? If you have any sage words of advice, will be an avid listener. In the meantime, I'm going to try to see if I can figure out how to make the image on the disk smaller.

AH HA! I'm feeling like such a computer nerd! Solution was to save the new edited image on disk FIRST before saving it with a name. Worked like a charm and the image downloaded from the disk drive in a flash...Yipee! Maybe I WILL like this new computer...Thanks for the help!
