It's a carafe, about twelve inches tall and it has a mark on the bottom that I do not know. What should I call this? I know it isn't pressed glass or carved and it has a visible seam on the sides, so what is it?
I got this at the thrift store for a dollar and I think they sold it so cheaply because the lid was stuck on. I brought it home and ran a little hot water over it and it immediately unstuck.

The design appears to be etched glass, very similar to a Fostoria carafe I sold for over $100 three years ago. Can you get a better photo of the mark? It's hard to see here.

The mark is hard to see on the piece also, it is very light on it. That's why I used the black background, so it will show up as best as it can be. I took about six pics of the mark and this was the best one after enhancement with my photo software.

It's a large T with a bullet shaped deelyblob on either side not letters. Sorry, I should have made that more clear.

Looked at it again with a maginifying glass and I guess they could be stylized letters. So what does TDC stand for? Is it Top Dead Center, Tom's Dead Cat, The Doobie Carafe or.......?

Way to go, LtRay.
Boy is my face red for not remembering that classic monogram style is to have the last name initial in the center with the first initial to the left and the middle initial to the right.

Her stuff can do very well on ebay. There is probably a pattern name that you should list in the title and Do put Mid Century Modern or Eames Era in the title.
Very pretty - nice find.
