essentially, NO MMF in the USA has EVER lost any money...I don't expect PP FUND to preferm any better nor any worse than any other MMFs, which are generally very conservative with a philosophy 1for1...
That being said, signing up for the PP MMF guarantees that the IRS has you in dere sights...NOT worth the FEW pennies earned IMMHP...

One can get a money fund fund from any established brokerege firm in the US. The returns can be compared. They do not vary that much and what you gain is not all that much either unless Fed interest rates rise to 1981 levels. Why choose Paypal?

Money market mutual funds have lost money,I recall 2 cases in early 1990s.
But the management co absorbed the loss.

Why sink a bunch into one low paying fund? A divirsified portfolio is much better. Invest equally in bourbon, lottery tickets and cigars.
