I am planning on trying to list directly from ebay and drop Vendio.
My problem is coming up with a decent shipping setup for combined shipping.
I use FedEx and USPS.
I can't seem to find a decent way to set it up at ebay.
With Vendio, I had a 75% discount on additional items. Ebay only seems to have a fixed fee you can charge for additional items. I sell a lot of different sized items so if the buyer gets 2 items with $6 shipping and I set it at $2 for additional items, it would work ok. But if I have 2 items with $30 shipping and it is set at $2 additional, I will lose a lot of money.
I thought about doing calculated but the problem is they only have UPS calculator, not FedEx. The rates are close enough that it would work but I think I would have a lot of people not read a message that I am using FedEx and get mad when FedEx delivers the package.
The other problem with calculated is that the bidder can's see the shipping cost in the search list without clicking the calculate button which might make them pass it by.
Which of the two options would you prefer if you were the buyer or is there a better way?

I wouldn't worry too much about that. I don't input the shipping cost in ebay's screwed up system. I do list it in my listing however, and it doesn't have any effect on sales, at least in my experience. Then I also state that combined shipping will be calculated at the end of the auctions.
