Thanks Marc... it sure puts the real fee increase "in our face"
I have never had much eBay store success anyway- but that is a gigantic increase

You are welcome Judi...This is just what Debbie and I needed to motivate us to wind down the eBay business. We closed our store last night and are no longer going to use gallery. We are just going to dump what is left at basically our cost for a starting bid.
It should be fun!

Who's chart is this? Am I reading it correctly that Paypal has increased fee as well? Did I missed that?

Paypal fees have not increased. It is just showing the total with the increased eBay fee plus Paypal fee for a total increase. Look closely at the numbers. This link came from eBay's Seller Central board.

I've closed my store today.
I've listed several of the items and have disabled the gallery.
I won't quit E-bay (it's still the only game in town) but I'll budget what I spend to market my products.
Screw em,

I TOTALLY hate ALL galleries it is like call waiting - if I am looking at something I do not need moving photos of other items stomping and galloping across the screen!!!
Also if I am on the phone , I do not want bells, telling me to stop and talk to someone else and put the person I am talking to on hold. If I am put on hold because of someone taking another call-I HANG UP
It is hot in Carolina,

Thanks for the chart... I printed it and am going to study this change. I know one thing FOR SURE!!! I am ****finally**** moved to setting up my own website. For my field,Antiques, I figure if I sign on to Ruby Lane and have my own site I can make up for any sales from ebay. I have felt like this would be in my future for some time, but have been to lazy to deal with it.
I am so BLOODY sick of Meg and Bill screwing things up and then looking at all of us in the face and saying it is for the "good of our community"! BULL puckey! What is good for our community is stability!
They may be the biggest game in town, but by cracky I for one am sick of this ---- and ready to find a new way. I suspect that I will like most of us be forced to close my store and list as BIN's. I am having a yard sale next month and believe me any "newbie" who says "hey I'll, throw that on ebay" can be my guest! All my $20 and below stuff will be sold in box lots.
