I am going to transition my Ebay listings over to a Vendio Store as my store listings on Ebay expire.

Most of my items are one-of. Do I have to use SMIE in order to be included in Froogle?

Also besides linking to your store through Ebay, do you do any additional advertising through clicks or adwords, etc.

Thanks, Diana answered Froggle question.

Still interested in knowing if anyone else uses alternative advertising to increase traffic to their Vendio Store.

Iceice - can you share Diana's answer (was waiting to hear what your answers were!)?

Sorry, Neglus. Should have done that!

All Vendio Store listings are fed to Froggle even if you use Merchandising Edition.

Shopzilla feeds are only compatible with SIME.

Not sure you need my 2 cents (sorry to be late).

You can use either inventory system. The easiest way to add an item from your ebay store to your vendio store is to do this:

When an item closes, click to re-launch it. At the very bottom of the screen is an option to "sell one more of these in my vendio store". Select that and SAVE (don't launch). The action of saving just put the item in your store and in the "Unfiled" area in your inventory.

You can now go into Unfiled and move the item, etc.

The feeds are going to google base and froogle automatically. They are working pretty well and any hiccups are google's fault I believe. Get a google homepage under your Vendio store name and your items will shop up when you log in.

Also, I submitted my VD store name to all the search engines a long time ago. I find myself up and down in the engines, depends which ones and what else is going on. Put something new in your store every couple of days. Also, since the bots only pick up the first few lines use, subtitles in your store name (see mine for an example).

For ebay I use my vendio store header, an ebay approved link that follows the 2-click rule, and the image supersize option that shows other stuff from my store.

On all emails (including the ebay WBN, payment received, shipping notification, etc., I use my url: www.vintageads4u.com (which is just a re-direct to my vd store)

Everything gets picked up by the internet so use your store address in all blogs, messages, posts, etc.
