Since the day it was introduced, the Ebay Toolbar has been nothing more than spyware. Supposedly, they have recently "seen the light" and cleaned it up. The question is, how far do you trust Ebay and any computer code they write? Just about any program with the word "toolbar" in it will be spyware. The one exception that consistently shows up clean is the Google Toolbar. I'm with Stone on this. I would avoid it until outside, independent, third party experts have had time to evaluate it and declare it safe.

The last review on CNET was in January of 2005. Looks like maybe no one's bothered to review it since then! LOL Don't do it!

I installed it today, too. Gave my passwords when it prompted. Then discovered the account guard doesn't work properly. I talked to live help. They said to uninstall and reinstall. I uninstalled it and changed my passwords. Decided not to mess with it again.
