OK now I've seen it all!! On my local news last night they profiled a site called lastminuteauctions.com This is a site started by 2 guys in Germany and covers all of ebay including ebay U.S. What it covers are all auctions ending within one hour that are $0.99 or less with no bids. The thing that struck me was that they let you know right away that most times the s/h charges are expensive. For example: They showed an auction for a topaz ring for $0.99 but the s/h was $19.95. Now according to the guys ebay has approved this site and I haven't received anything from ebay stating that they haven't approved it.
Think about this for a minute - ebay approves a site where the auctions are $0.99 or less with outrageous shipping yet on the other hand ebay is screaming about inflated s/h charges and fee avoidance.
Sometimes it's just too easy to make ebay look like idiots!!!

Fascinating. I'm guessing the 12-year-olds running eBay feel that having that other site disclosing outrageous shipping will discourage bids and therefore help stop that practice on eBay?

There must be thousands of auctions. Are they listed by category or anything? Sounds like it would be good for buyers.

going to www.lastminuteauctions.com jumps to some site in German called telofax, with no mention of auctions.

They are ebay approved as in an eBay affiliate, and will be using ebays affiliate API to display results from predefined searches such as all items no bids ending soon by catagory etc.
Neat idea to do it for most catagories, others (like us on auctionpix) do it for a few catagories only
