I haven't seen a thread on anyone selling anything on Ebay's express. Are there any stories to tell?

I sold one thing when it first came out - but nothing since. Of course I have been in and out and in and out and in and now out again..LOL.. still can't decide if being in hurts SEO or ebay search results. I doubt that postcard buyers will use Express - it's advertised as NEW and you can't find a thing when you search there anyway...I think I'm OUT for the duration.

I was in when it first started and didn't sell anything (that I know of). I then heard that it hurts store sales, so I dropped it, and store sales did in fact pick up.

Who knows what the upcoming changes in stores, are going to do to Express.

No, I'm not on Express right now, and no big plans on returning.

I sold two things total on Express and then about 10 days ago I opted out completely and plan on staying out.

My store sales have picked up nicely over the last week.

Although, I also tried the "put my store on vacation" for three days.

So I don't know if it is
A: I opted out of Express
B: I did the vacation tweak
OR
C: I have removed 700 store listings and Meg and Bill are so thankful to me for getting rid of that nasty store inventory that they decided to thank me by actually putting my store back in search for more than a couple of hours each month.

I've had zero sales with Express. Like media mail, Ebay Express, so far, is only available to sellers with USA addresses.

I have no sales with eBay Express because I do not qualify. I will not ship to Unconfirmed addresses.

eBay Express was dead on arrival. And the sooner Meg fires the lunkheads who insist on marketing eBay as if it were a mail-order catalogue, the better.

"I will not ship to Unconfirmed addresses."

Yeah? So what?

Neither does Ralphie, but his items are IN feeBay Depress

The ONE sale in DEPRESS had to be redone by the buyer because she used an UNCONFIRMED ADDRESS -- no problem! We REJECTED her payment & she then did things MY WAY!

Seller requirements

Sellers who want their items to appear on eBay Express must:

Maintain a feedback score of at least 100 or more, 98% positive or better.

Maintain a public feedback profile.

Be registered as a U.S. registered seller, or Canadian registered seller shipping from the U.S.

Support your listings with a PayPal Premier or PayPal Business account.

Ensure your PayPal account settings are set to ship to unconfirmed addresses OR (note da qualifier) make sale-by-sale decisions ("Ask me for unconfirmed addresses".

Listing requirements

List on eBay.com.

List items in Fixed Price or Store Inventory Format.

Items must be located in the US.

Use Pre-Filled Item Information for listings within Books, DVDs & Movies, Music, and Video Games.

Allow shoppers to pay by single, combined payments for their purchases. You can specify this by going to your Selling Preferences within My eBay. Look for the Shipping & Discount section.

Use eBay checkout or the new checkout integration API (for 3rd party order processing).

Listings must include a photo, the item condition via Item Specifics, and shipping costs in the shipping fields.

For more details including specific category criteria, see the complete eBay Express selling checklist.

Was there an actual point inside all that gibberish?

With the volume of shipping I do, I do not care to correspond with people to determine their level of trustworthiness.

YMMV. It usually does.

If you can't make a point without bolding, nasty graphics or all-caps, you haven't much of a point to make.

Wish we all had Ralphie's guidance through eBay foibles. My cat, well, he's just a cat.

To be quite honest, I wasn't even aware Ebay Express was still in operation. I thought it had died a slow death during the night some time ago.
