Here's the link to Bill Corncobb's original message. http://www2.ebay.com/aw/core/200607191343242.html

Here's the overview of the fee increase. http://pages.ebay.com/sell/announcement200607/overview/fees.html?ssPageName=CMDV:AB

Closed my store as soon as I heard the announcement. Screw them.

You tend to wonder what the super big store sellers are going to do about this when many of them sell low end items or the sellers who sell books where they have inventories consisting of 100,000 items or more. Do you think that they will pay the huge increase, Feebay is making the biggest mistake of their existence. they encourage of us all to open stores now they want to screw us royally.
they have just introduced a new email indicating my selling or buying status. What a waste of time!! but they have to keep their programming department busy creating new obstacles for us sellers.

Not as cute as Marie Antoinette, though.

Could someone please tell me how to close my store. I must be stupid, but I have looked in the "Manage Store" site and other places and cannot find how to do this. I want to close my store on 8/22 and want to be prepared. Are they hiding this info or am I just looking in the wrong places. Thanks!!

If I remember correctly when I closed my store the other week I found it under "My Account" and then under "Subscriptions". A ebay store is a subscription and you will need to cancel the subscription.
