Have I been missing something?? I did a search and under each title on the search results is the sellers feedback # and rating. It is where subtitle normally would be. Is this new or have I just missed it??

It's about 10 days old and I'm very UNHAPPY with it for two reasons:

1) It SCRUNCHES the subtitle, thus decreasing the VALUE of that extra...

2) PLUS, I used to offer FREE SHIPPING on many items, & that FACT was prominently displayed on the RIGHT side of the page -- but, since they added this "feature" S&H charges no longer appear!

Ah, well...typical feeBay behaviour:

"If it ain't broken, let's break it!"

Hmm, I guess I have not been shopping lately. The feature does seem redundant. You get the feedback info once you go to the description. Are the discouraging people from even looking at an item based on feedback score??

Another weird thing, when I did another search on another computer, it did not come up that way?!? My first search only yielded 12 items, this last one, without the feedback, was 268.

Then I did the original search on the newer computer and the feedback stuff did not appear. What gives!!

I haven't seen anything different, that is strange you got the rating etc.

When it first started the shipping costs were still shown?? Hopefully a temporary glitch and it gets fixed, should we fire off an email to eBay?

Here is the search that shows feedback under the title on my computer, not on the other computer in my house. This is the craziest thing.......

Sorry, do not know how to make it linkable!!

Deja vu...have we talked about this recently?

You can customize the display and one of the options is to show feedback. Maybe one of the computers has that option check and the other does not.

Or a glitch, who knows?

I don't see it either.
I also didn't know that you could control your searches display? Neat - where do I go to set that up?

Yes, please tell us, I like seeing how much shipping will be and I would really like my shipping to show (realize I can't fix that part).

Do a Search and look at the top row.

There is a box that you can do a pull down menu and display if you want to see items by time, price or distance.

Now, look to the right of the pull down menu. There is a link called: Customized Display.
Click on that and off you go. Be sure you go all the way to the bottom and save your choices.

I've been seeing the funky search results page come up about once every week or so. I'm not sure if it is due to the computer being used, or ebay testing changes, etc. At first, it was very scary thinking that ebay might actually make that the standard default.

Thank you, I now customized my searches. The funny thing is, I never changed them before (didn't know I could!!), so why did the feedback stuff come up??

Thanks again!!

just curious - what are you using as far as IE or Firefox/Mozilla? I haven't seen anything weird since I started using Mozilla.

From what others on this thread have told me, it depends on your settings. When I did that search, feedback #s appeared under the title. After I "customized" the display. They are gone!! I guess your "customization" is different than mine was. The strange thing is, I never changed them to put the feedbacks there. I have changed them now so they aren't there.

I didn't see "show feedback" as an option.

When you go to "Customize", Show feedback is under display, after the boxes where you can move items back and forth.
