Yes, it was OT. But just enough of a news item to trigger everyone's 9/11 PTSD.

Thank Goodness it did not happen yesterday while I was sitting in Atlanta during a 3 hour flight delay, if I had seen that, I might have rented a car.

And who IS the genius who decided Terminal D did not need a smoking room???

The news just keeps getting worse. The plane was registered to New York Yankees pitcher Corey Lidle. ESPNEWS is reporting that he was piloting the plane & did in fact perish.

My thoughts & prayers go out to the Yankees organization & Corey's friends & family.

Cory Lidle plane, Joe Torre confirmed it. Lidle is dead.

The NY Yankees have had a bad week.

Wow! I did a search on ebay for Cory Lidle right after his name was released. Showed a total of 8 items. Within 30 minutes it was 111.

Unbelievable how fast these guys are!

How was this connected to feeBay? Were they:

Big eBay sellers?
or
eBay management? (if so, was it suicide and what does it portend for eBay's future)?

Should we list items to exploit this event?

Inquiring minds want to know...
