These are a couple of the treasures that my older friends "bestowed" on me. They got them in Mexico in 1940s. Each one is 30 inches tall and approx 6 inches wide. Here is a foto, There are two hook things on the back on each one top and bottom. This way they can be secured on the wall safely

Icons seems to me a good thing to call them. There might be a technical Mexican word for them, too. Religious icons, looks like to me.

Thanks Twig. I was thinking about it. I want to try to do some research first to see exactly what I have. I think these are some of the few things I have that might be worth something. I have a friend that has a vintage furniture store. I might just put them in there and see what happens first. It's free. I don't have to list or ship that way.

"Bulto" is the word in Spanish. They are carvings of saints, although which ones I'm not too sure. Google Bultos and you'll get lots of examples.
