Perhaps they're testing some new listing software. Perhaps it was a trial to see if someone would remove it.
In any case, a single toothpick, even with reasonable shipping, would not be something that anyone would bid on, with or without a photo (unless it had a face like Elvis on it).

Hmmm, if I were testing new listing software, I doubt I would experiment with $100 shipping costs. I think they can be pretty confident no one would bid given the lack of pic and the wonderful description and in the unlikely event of someone bidding, I think most people can come up with an item matching this description. Looking to see how long it would take to remove it, that makes more sense.
