Want to know why your payments are not coming in this afternoon??

The buyers can not access PayPal to pay you. It took me close to 10 minutes to get into the site just now.

Luckily I did all my shipping this morning, but I still have a large number of buyers who have not paid. I have been suspecting PayPal is hosed from the pattern of payment flows for the last week.

The problem is interrmitten. Probably only happens when FLuff tries to use the new postage screens

I have my own grrrrrrrrr with Paypal today. I had lost my debit card a couple of months ago so I cancelled it and ordered a new one. Well, my Gold's Gym membership came out on the lost card, but I had already cancelled the membership before I lost the card. Last month Gold's somehow jumped the cards and was able to charge that month's membership on my new debit card. I called Paypal and they reversed it. This month Gold's did the same thing again. This time when I called, Paypal said I would have to fill out an application that they will send to me. It will probably take a few weeks before I see that money back. So $60 from my rent money is tied up. Gold's should never have been able charge on my new card, but they did and Paypal allowed them to. I went to Gold's and got everything straightened out (I think) so they shouldn't be doing that anymore.

However, (yes, I am having one of those days) on the plus side for Paypal ... I went to my bank's ATM to withdraw from my Paypal account to set aside the cash for my rent. Well, the transaction went all the way through until it was time to give me my money, and then it said "cannot complete your request" and didn't give me my money or a receipt, but gladly spit the card back out. I went across the street to another bank and took out the money. When I got home, I checked my Paypal account, and sure enough, the first transaction went through. I went down to the bank, waited 45 minutes to speak with someone, only to be told that they couldn't do anything about it and to call Paypal. Fortunately, Paypal immediately reversed the charge and I got my money back. It was $400!

I am staying away from all ATMs, credit cards and money for the next couple of days. I seem to be jinxed.
