I'm trying to create a listing and all of the sudden I'm getting this CR*P when I'm trying to preview the listing....
SO I jump through the hoops and answer all their cr*ppy answers (which I already had stored thank you) and I still can't get to the preview section of the auction to load! It takes me back to a page where it looks like I haven't signed in although it says Welcome glassgrl. This is CR*P.

I can't get pictures to upload or much of anything done today with Vendio. I hope this won't go on long, Christmas selling time is NOW!!

Looks like Vendio is having major issues - even discussion boards not working right this am! Hopefully they are working on fixing what's broken. WOuld be nice to get an acknowledgement of problem and confirmation that they are working on it...

Well at least I finally got the auction listed. It looks like when you have to jump through their hoops they try to get you to sign up for their new promotion "Increase Sales! Try Vendio Promotional Options - Automatically import winning bidders into Customer Management folder"
Tell me if the sound works for everybody on this auction:

wow, glassgrl .. vendio sh*t aside, can you PLEASE explain step by step how you got an audio of the bell into the listing like that??? .... i've been wanting to know how to do that for years; particularly when i have an old music box that i don't know the tune to, or i want to show shoppers how nice the tone is on th music box ...
If you'll please take the time to explain that, ... cuz it's awesome .... love your old bell! ...
Click here to turn on the sound.
First you have to find webspace to host your .wav file. On every computer (I don't know about Mac) you will find you have a sound recorder. You have to hook a microphone up to your computer (I used a headset with a mic) and record your sound.
I hosted my .wav file on my internet provider via FTP. It took me 2 days LOL to figure out how to upload that danged file! Finally figured out that I had to create a new public_html file for it to upload to!
But I was determined to use my provider webspace because 1) it's free and 2) I wanted to move my Ebay ME pictures to it so I didn't have to keep renewing them in VD.
You can use the Windows Sound Recorder to record your own sounds. You'll need a sound card that supports sound input, a microphone and speakers.
Instructions
STEP 1: If your computer has a sound card and speakers, as most do, you will only need to acquire a microphone (fewer computers come with them). Microphones range in price greatly; if you're just recording simple sounds and effects, buy a cheaper microphone.
STEP 2: Attach your microphone to the Sound In port on the back of your computer. (It might have a picture of a microphone next to it.)
STEP 3: If your microphone has an On button, turn it on. Otherwise, refer to the instruction sheet that came with it.
STEP 4: Open the Sound Recorder. (Open the Start menu and choose Programs, then Accessories, Entertainment and, finally, Sound Recorder.)
STEP 5: From the Sound Recorder, click New.
STEP 6: To begin recording, click Record - the circle that appears at the right-hand side of the Sound Recorder.
STEP 7: When you are finished recording, click Stop - the square that appears directly to the left of the circle.
STEP 8: Use the Play, Rewind and Seek to End buttons to test your recording.
STEP 9: When you are satisfied, save your sound file using the Save As command in the File menu.
