Newbie (feedback 1) bought 2 items from us. I first saw on my 'My eBay' page that they'd filled out checkout info 'marked payment sent on 11/14/07 before I could invoice them ... i went to check it out on the actual listings and they filled out ebay's Checkout info, indicating they were mailing a check. ..... then i go BACK to my 'my eBay', and ONE of the two items shows a dollar sign (indicating they paid for one of them, which they did not yet) ... how can i fix my 'my ebay' page back to the 'hourglass' icon, which it was before (which indicates they're going to mail a payment)? I sure don't see that option in the pull-down menu.

I think you have to go to the auction page, then select payment details, then unmark payment sent. If that doesn't work, then I don't know.
Good luck from another OC on the block.

hmmm Beth, ... on the actual auction page, it reads, "You have marked this item as "Payment Received" on Nov-14-06." ... when i click to Payment Details, the ONLY option inre this situation is for me to click on "Mark payment received for this item." and I'm SURE not going to click on that. ... arghhh ...

thanks for your thought though ... btw, what does "OC" stand for?

You should be able to go the sold items in My eBay - click on the record # and then uncheck the payment received.

I think "oc" means obsessive/compulsive (you said it was "petty" and she picked up on that) . I have tend to be OC too when it comes to payment status.

If it says you marked "Payment Rec'd" you SHOULD be able to unmark it on the auction page:

If you can't do it, then I would contact "Live Help" about the glitch.

oh geez, neglus ... I couldn't figure out HOW you got your screen to be a .jpg to show me, and for me to show you what I'm seeing, best I could come up with was my Mavica shot of my screen LOL ...

As you see, I am not seeing that 'option' that shows on your screen ... argh ...

I took a screenshot - very easy to do:
hold down "Ctrl" and press the "PrntScrn" button (on the top between the letter keys and the number pad on your keyboard). Then you open IRFAN (or photo editor) and do "Edit" -> "Paste" and voila! You can crop and resize, save as .jpg, upload and then post.

I see the problem - you have to click on the "see payment details" link to go further and get the screen I displayed.
