Toolhound,
I think any reasonable person could make the same conclusion as you did... however, we all know that eBay is not reasonable. Bottom line, despite the strong connection... there is no absolute proof that it is the same person. Without that proof, eBay won't do anything.
However... an idea... file Unpaid Item disputes for all three items. If they do not respond within 7 days, you can close the disputes, and the negatives will disappear. Right around Christmas time is usually a good idea (since they may be vacationing and not checking email).

Ebay uses a robot to sniff out the Naru'd bidder who registers under a different ID,so just keep an eye on this new bidder of yours.

I have filed Unpaid Item disputes for all three items and the 7 days is up Thursday.
Thanks sthoemke that profile is him and the "likes partying" is probably why he is a nice guy during the day and a maniac later in the evening.

The only thing that does not confirm they are one and the same is the address. Is there a way to google the addresses to see if the same name is comes up on both?
Probably doesn't matter anyway - ebay has their mind made up. Hope for a removal of the negative.
Can I say it one more time - newbie should not be allowed to leave less than perfect FB until they have at least 20 FB.

Lady I so agree with you. My recent crazy "deal" with Wessonette lady... she's back with a new ID I have blocked that one but who knows .... I will be on guard to newbie bidders for awhile. In this business as in any sales business... the only thing you really own is your reputation! To have people like Tool is dealing with at the moment have the power to negativly affect that is the PITS.... ebay do you hear us?

If so,then Ebay should make sellers leave good feeeback when they recieve the payment, not wait for the bidder to leave feedback first!

hwahwa - that's ridiculous - there is so much more to a transaction than just payment.

Is there a Vendio policy that we should not disclose any auction seller/bidder ID?

Correctomundo. But you will have many trolls here that will disagree.

ST0NEC0LD613 & hwahwa , You two must be related. You must not sell on eBay either. If you did you would know that when a seller leaves feedback first he opens himself up to a world of scams.
In my 9,000+ sales on eBay I have seen and heard of many of these scams. Once the seller leaves feedback the buyer finds the item not to be perfect and threatens Negative feedback or a partial refund. This is a common problem in used items . I had it used on me many times before I quit leaving feedback first.
I have seen other scams too but will not bring them all up since it just gives these idiots something else to work with.
I also removed the original post in this thread since some think these people should be protected.

I sell nearly full-time on ebay and I always leave feedback when I receive payment. I have done this for 8 years and have not regretted it. I only have 2 negatives and they were from buyers who never paid and I gave them a neg.
I am not related to stonecold or hwahwa

Maybe it is something happening in the areas I sell in. I sell Collectible tools mostly and had many problems untill I quit leaving feedback first.
Also have talked to many others at tools shows and antique shows that had the same problems.
I also do not understand why leaving feedback has become a big deal anyway. It is not something a seller or buyer has to do.

I also do not feel feedback is that big of a deal which is why I do not hold it hostage. If I get paid, then the buyer has held up their end of the transaction, most leave feedback, some don't.
I do not understand how you quit having problems after you stopped posting feedback first. What kind of problems? If people are unhappy with the product then they would still be unhappy, if it has to do with shipping, then again that would still be the same. I can't grasp why that would end problems with sales.

The people were not unhappy with the product or the shipping. They make up things like for example a guy threatened negative feedback if I would not refund 25% because a 150 year old woodworking plane was 1/1000" from being flat on the bottom.
Another wanted 50$ back because he said he removed some overspray paint from the inside edge of a handle with a scalpel and it took him 4 hours. The plane had been completly covered with overspray and I wiped it off in 2 minutes with #0000 steel wool. I just missed a small area.
After doing some checking I found these people do this on every old item they buy and it pays off for them in most cases. The seller is afraid of the negative and would rather give them some money back.
If you don't leave them feedback first they do not do this. They don't want a negative for trying to scam you.
