I have been writing here on a couple of threads about the fact that I have received no messages from eBay since the morning of Dec. 4th. I have now set up a Hotmail account with the idea of changing my email address on eBay to that, and seeing if it works, and then hopefully, going back to my regular ISP. I tried taking my email address off and then re-adding it, but it wouldn't be accepted because the message was that I needed to put in a new address.
Would some of you wiser than me let me know if you think this is a good idea please?

You should get a gmai account if you download all your emails with outlook express or other email reader. Currently the new hotmail accounts will NOT download into outside email client unless you had it long before last winter or so OR it is a pay hotmail account..
Gmail will give you the setting to fix it to download into OE or others and you can set filters for that mail to go into another folder to keep them seperate or just your ebay ones...
Yes you have to have another email at ebay before you can delete the old one.
************** Check it out

Okay people the problem is on eBay's side. If you check eBay's own forums there are 100s of similar complaints of NO EMAIL!!! for the past few weeks. No word on a fix either...
