Is it just me or has the off-eBay links on search results exploded recently? When I'm buying on eBay, in addition to the band-width hogging animated ads at the top of the search results page, I also get "Sponsored links" that are seemingly related to my search and are off eBay. What are they thinking? Are they that hard up for cash? On one hand, we see eBay trying to manipulate page views with cute gadgets and on the other, we see them sending viewers away with sponsored links.

If you have it, it will say "Adblock" right above the clock. I thought I was seeing a different version because I never see the sidebar ads but I guess it's just Adblock?
