I had a buyer provide an APO for me to ship to. I figured he was in the middle east somewhere so I gave him the benefit of the doubt of an entire month. I saw his high number feedback and didn't think anything else of it until today. It appears that this the guy is stationed in Europe and is a POWER SELLER. He is making a pretty good side income from selling european antiques, smalls etc in the US! Unbelievable!

It caught me off guard, that's all. Kind of a shocker. I was feeling sorry for this poor soul who was protecting our country and in harms way, suffering as the poor guys and gals are in the middle east. That is where I pictured him. I sent him messages and would receive a reply two or three days later. Still no payment yet over a month after the auction closed. He wasn't busy protecting our country, he was working on his own side business.

How did he get his European antiques if he is in Middle east?
Eruope is a great hunting ground for antiques, especially the country side.

paloma,
Uhmmm... just want to point out that in the military, families often travel with the active military personel. This guy could easily be the spouse of someone that IS serving our country. Their address would indeed be an APO. The spouses of active military personel have to give up a lot (it's very difficult to have your own true career when you could be relocated at any time). I applaud their resourcefullness to find a way to make some extra income in such a way that it too could be easily relocated.
Still doesn't give much of an excuse for a late payment... but keep in mind that military mail isn't always perfect, either. Why not just contact them and see what's going on?

Ditto to what eauctions said.
My brother-in-law is a career Air Force officer. They've moved 8 times in 18 years (including a rare 5 consecutive years stint in San Antonio, though I think he was transferred from Kelly to Lackland then back to Kelly), which has certainly limited my sister's career options--I'm not sure she ever wanted a real career, but...
While it's not my sister's calling, selling on eBay could certainly be a good source of income for a military spouse--which, of course, doesn't excuse not paying for items won. File an NPB and see what the response is.
