hope you all have a great one! we missed the Thanksgiving vintage postcard sharing because we were putting the final touches on the shopping cart at our website. it needs a lot more inventory but the good news is, our store at http://www.vintagepostcards.org is outselling our eBay store at about a 10:1 ratio. it was sort of scary at first, not depending on eBay, but now it feels positively liberating and refreshing! we scaled way back at feeBay.

A very merry Christmas to all of you. We'll be out of town and out of touch for a few days, back mid-week. Have a good one, y'all.

vintage,
What great news to see your sales are so good.
What I would like to know is how do buyers find your web site.
I have thousands of rubber stamps for scrapbooking & card making & I see now I should be doing the same thing, but have no idea how to go about it.

hi McJane,
i didn't see your post until just now. it would take longer than this post would probably hold to explain all the ins and outs of setting up a website. if you want to, e'mail me at sales - at sign - vintagepostcards.org and we can talk about it.
have you looked at etsy.com? it seems to specialize in crafting items and it has either very small or no fees at all. several craftspeople i know of have had some success there. at least it would give you a quick start at branching out.
