Does anyone know the make/model of this car? Continental? Cadillac? I'm having trouble finding it on the web. TIA

The rear lights are similar to a 1950 Cadillac. It could possibly be 1949 or 1948 at the earliest. Kind of silly, but the car is a beaut and is about the only redeeming factor in the postcard - the other redeeming factor is superlative- it's at the world's largest gate in Forest Lawn.

Hi
It might be a Tucker 1948 but without seeing the front I can't be sure. or it might be a 1950 Chevy but again with out seeing the front I can't be sure. I don't feel it is a Studebaker.
The tucker was build 1948 the co. folded 1949
51 cars were made and 47 survived. Wish I could be of more help but this one is a hard one. I would list it as a 48 or 50 tucker or chevy but a buyer might now and contact you with the correct year/name
please let us know when/and if you find out the correct name.

Thanks all. I love the old cars and trucks site- could spend all day there! Don't think it's a Packard but will check out the Tucker and Chevy, may just have to list it as a pink car
Note the spare tire in the back. This definitely points out that it's not a Tucker... but it could be a Lincoln. Hope that helps!

I would have guessed a Continental because of the spare tire but the fenders and back wheel well look wrong. I'm ready to give up, Thanks for the help all

I don't think it is factory stock. Continental kits were real popular after market item in the 50's. Could be an Olds.
Scratch that-- the rear fender is very low. Similar to a Studebaker. Did they make a Studebaker convertable in 1952-1955 years?
