Just received a PAYMENT through Paypal for an auction that was NOT mine but actually the person that paid was the SELLER????
1 7000 4598 459
??? got the e-mail as usual from Paypal, checked paypal and sure enough PAYMENT is there!?...NOT MY AUCTION..never bid or had any dealings with this person??

I got a charge back from pay pal and this is what it says

Reason for Dispute: Special
This chargeback is the result of a processing error. We are resolving this situation with the credit card company. No further action is required by you at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Jan. 23, 2007 PayPal Chargeback case created by processing error.
CLEARLY SHOWS I NEVER SOLD ANYTHING TO THIS PERSON AND PAY PAL IS HOLDING MY FUNDS ALMOST $100, I been trying to call paypal and the cannot help me over the phone.

well...paypal is still "closed"...is it possible that their OPEN EVERYDAY is just mon-fri? This amount is MINIMUM...but I am afraid that their "processing errors" may LOCK my account. Just went and withdrew the maximum allowed for one day.

It sounds like the same eBay problem I am having. Lately when I sell something, ebay sends me a notice that I am the winning bidder.
Could be this person didn't pay attention to the e-mail figuring it was infact something that he/she was bidding on and simply sent payment without paying attention. And we all know about people that don't pay attention.
