Make sure thats what you want, I tried the free trial and then when I tried to drop it I couldn't. I went through e-mails and telephone calls for a month before I got my money back.

Hi Greg;
The issue is really which shopping cart you should use, Pro Store's version being one of many.
You may be interested in a segment in this show I did on shopping carts and the one, Volusion, that I chose for my store and why: http://tinyurl.com/y7a3lm

By and large with all shopping carts, the responsibility for traffic is yours. ProStores obviously integrates eBay but others do as well.And what you have to bear in mind is that eBay is a subset of the internet. Thinking of eBay optimization as an end unto itself misses the point.
Most shopping cart services (other than open source solutions such as ZenCart, OSCommerce, etc.)offer marketing upsell packages.
In the case of Prostores the basic marketing package is:
"We guarantee that each month your ads will be viewed at least 10,000 times, or that you'll receive a minimum of 50 new visitors to your store.
$100/month, $100 Setup Fee".
Pretty standard and by signing up for such marketing packages, you are neglecting or subordinating a very important skill set that you should be learning yourself - namely, how to run your own marketing.
Along those lines, until you actually test-drive a shopping cart and know what to look for, all of the claims re ease of use and SEO are simply that - boiler-plate claims.
SEO is not terribly wonky as some would have you believe. Its more about relevant, full descriptions, keyword reiteration and a program or service that prompts you, per item, for such and the discipline on your part to do the work.
These type of "$100 per month" blanket pkgs. are simply too broad, the resulting traffic too general to pay. For someone that knows what they're doing, the price would and should be much more....and my opinion is that someone might as well be the store owner.
