First I get notice from Ebay that an item I bought was sold on a hacked account so Off I go to get the Paypal payment ha ha ha back ha ha ha I know won't happen as they probably won't ever get their money back from the thief. It was for a 2 year subscription to a magazine, I had gotten one last year and found this one to get for 2 years anyway looks like I am out my money unless Paypal repays me out of their own pockets. HA HA HA dream on. At least Ebay notified me in barely enough time ( had 2 days before can't file dispute) to even dispute the payment--instant one not a credit card darn!
Then today a few listings I had on with lots of watchers yeah I know means nothing --you got it no bids. I thought sure some would sell or part of them anyway--zero sell through.
It has just been one big $h#$y year so far for Ebay sells. I have come to a big decision, I am getting out of the Ebay hobby or giving my money to ebay in fees business. I will come back here to lurk and respond maybe but the selling is just about over unless I have a sure thing-- not such thing-- to get rid of. Already decided to clean out my shop of all my stuff I have not even tried to sell and have a huge Garage sell and get my life back.
Now that I have decided this I am wondering I know a lot of posters don't have image hosting here and use Vendio I need to know what to do to stop being charged for Vendio service but still being able to post if I wanted to, ??Unchoose a plan?
PS: "The Secret" is NOT working for me. LOL Of course I didn't buy it to make it happen LMAO!

Irked, if it's any consolation--I had the worst selling night ever, tonight. 8 items listed, LOTS of watchers, only one sale.

Yes I believe you just delete all your photos (or transfer them to someplace like Sellers Sourcebook) and un-choose a photo hosting plan. Choose the listing pay as you go plan...then you can stay on and post but not pay anything.
I got an email about a magazine subscription too! The seller had 100% fb so I thought I was playing it safe. I filed & got a response from the seller that they had a link in their auctions & so ebay shut them down. They claimed the subscription was already placed...guess I'll see. Either that or I am out of money too.

We have all had those days. Ebay is losing a lot of customers because of fraud, like you experienced. It does make it challenging to sell especially when you have 100 or so of the same items listed. What type of items do you sell, if you don't mind me asking?

Wow, yesterday was the day for it. Both our cars were broken in to right in our driveway! They stole band equipment and tools. Bold as sh*t. The house across the street was also hit DURING THE DAY. What's up with all this crap?
Irked, sales stink for most of us right now. I know that doesn't help you, but I thought it might help a little to know that you aren't alone!!
March 9th brought in some incredible energy, and I don’t think I have been the same since. With each new energy surge that arrives through our spiritual evolutionary process, a theme comes along with it. So then, we integrate a particular theme within and without, as it arrives within the blueprint of each and every surge and shift.
This totally awesome energy that has most recently arrived is carrying a theme that is difficult to describe. For some time, I have been reporting that March will bring in some incredible and amazing energies, and boy, are they ever here. And this most recent energy arriving on the 9th, then, can only be described as something I have never really seen or experienced before.
There is a reason that these new energies of March are difficult to describe within a human reference, and again, this is because we have never experienced them before in the 3D reality.
On March 9th, my friend Phil and I took a long physical journey into a most magical place here in the Southwest, very near our home. We have been frequenting the ancient sites of late, as we are gathering much information in regard to how the ancients accessed, utilized, and lived in harmony with the earth and cosmos, as well as in harmony with the Star Beings. Some of these ancient ways have never really been recorded before, but are being revealed to the planet now as we will be reverting back to them, as we begin this new residency in the higher realms. And this will soon be the theme of my new teaching as well…the Star Beings and ancients are telling us so much!
This particular ancient pueblo was unknown to anyone, as far as we knew, and it took us a few hours to hike in. What we found there dumbfounded us both. Without going into much detail, I will say that we soon discovered that this magical place did not resemble the common traditions and findings of most other sites. It was very different in many, many ways, and the energy there was difficult to describe. It simply did not fit in with the traditional ways of living and being that we had come to know of the ancient Mogollons.
As we pieced things together through Phil’s vast knowledge and intuition, along with my interdimensional visions and impressions, we soon realized that we were experiencing something very rare and different indeed…and extremely highly evolved.
And this is what is now occurring with the new energies of March. They simply do not fit in with anything we have a reference for. At 3D levels, we had only so much that we could wrap our minds around, and we could only experience what our limited 3D thinking could imagine at best. The lid was on…we did not yet have access to the higher ways and the higher dimensions…and we could not yet have integrated and accommodated them if we did.
March is bringing in a whole new story as we progress up the rungs of the ascension ladder. The energies of the 9th can only be described as truly Heavenly. We have cracked open a massive tomb of higher energy, and it is coming in like gangbusters.
One thing that is becoming very evident as Phil and I commune with the ancient sites, is the level of higher living and being that was utilized in these sites in the area where we live. We are finding that these particular ancient communities that exist here, still possessed the energy of innocence…the energy of a pristine culture lacking any warring, dominance, or darker and denser energies. They were here eons ago before things changed. The energies and ways of being then, are so very similar to the energies that have been arriving, and will continue to arrive in March.
The March energies are bringing us back to the original blueprint of the planet Earth. This is the blueprint of no suffering, struggle, or darkness….and of a time when there was no resistance to any kind of creation, as all creation came from the highest intentions. The road was free and clear, there was happiness, joy, freedom, love, and peace abounding. No density, pressure, or burdens of any kind. This is what we greatly felt as we spent time in this awesome and truly magical ancient site on Saturday. And this is the reality that we are now entering into once again.
As these energies of March continue on, our hearts are opening as well. This can manifest as chest pain, difficulty in breathing, and that old familiar nausea and spaciness….almost as if we are floating along through-out our day. Accommodating these higher energies is the same as always…like putting 1,000 volts through a 100 watt human lightbulb….but as always, we seem to adjust.
And mentally, what we choose to focus upon will become true for us…even if we made it up or imagined it. So why not choose to focus on something positive and incredible…something we know could not possibly exist? Because I can assure you, we can create it with no effort. As if by magic, we can now conjure up just about anything that seemed impossible in the past.
This is the time of miracles….this is the time of creating effortlessly….this is the time of receiving what we never dreamed possible before. Going outside the box of our old 3D limitations is now possible, if we only allow ourselves to go there. So then, going through the door into the New Reality can be accomplished through thought and intent alone.
This is also the time of really becoming involved with life and the physical manifestations around us. We need no longer spend time on the internet, in front of a television, reading, or even in meditation. It is now time to fully be in our new creations, as it is within these new creations that we can now experience all we have ever dreamed of. And it is within these new creations that we can then teach others.
Yes, the time is here. It is time to experience what we have never known before….a life with no darkness, no negativity, and none of the denser emotions and illusions. These things now only exist within our minds and our imaginations. The higher ways of living and being are right in front of us, clear of the density that had blocked them from our view in the past. Are you ready to connect to them? Are you ready to see what has been there all along? Are you ready to accept them into your reality?
Hold onto your hats as March has more awesome surprises yet to come!

chathamsue, was your magazine seller cheapest-mags I think it was now changed to something hacked? they also had lots of feedback when I purchased and I checked their 100% feedback very well before bidding and getting that subscription. That is so weird to find another person here that had simular experience. I though havenot heard from the seller. I had all the email replies etc like it had gone through but have not heard from them. I might get mag and I might be unlucky and not get it who knows but had to file just in case.
I think I will choose that pay as I go plan and I may have a few thinks I still want to list but sure not going to kill myself getting it done. Maybe I will change my mind later when I have a more positive outlook LOL.

Digitalbruce, I just sell mostly collectibles or used items that are of my way of thinking still very desireable. I use to sell boots a lot that went to the wayside and dolls I have lots of are or use to be very sellable are way down in sells too. Anyway mostly used items but do have some new ones that were never used. Mostly estate sell items.
I may just need a vacation instead. I have in past enjoyed selling on ebay but it has gotten so straining this year that I wonder if it is worth the hassel

killed a lot of brain cells back then.
irked: had my first bad month in January ~ finally realized what everyone has been complaining about for the past two years!
Fortunately, Feb and March got me back on track.
Must've just been some energy.

I also was taken by a magazine seller. A few days after paying, I received a notice from Ebay indicating that the seller was NARU'd. Needless to say, I quickly went to paypal to file a dispute. Well the seller didn't like it as he would be out the $20.00. He gave some BS story and gave Paypal some fake USPS tracking number but it took me over 30 days to get the funds put back into my account.

irked, I took a long weekend off and flew to Florida and it really perked me up. No computer, no phone, lots of sunshine. Also, the things I tossed up to run while I was gone sold fairly well so that also gave me incentive. It is just no fun at all to list and list and not sell. But when I don't list, I don't sell and then don't have any 'fun money' so that makes me want to work too when the cash runs out (like last week in the grocery!). Maybe a little vacation will help but in any case please don't leave the forums, I check them many times a day and your posts are always interesting.

irked, I agree with your opinion about watchers. I have several items currently listed with over 10 watchers, and no bids. It can be frustrating when those watchers only translate into 1 or 2 or even no bids.

The Vendio 'pay as you go plan' is not free,I tried it once,and even thought I did not use any service,I was billed.

You have to cancel your account with Vendio and delete any existing photos that are stored or you are charged a basic monthly fee even if you upload no photos. I do not recall exactly how I did this since it has been awhile. However if you give them a current credit card number, you are free to post as I am doing now.

buyhigh has got it right, about how to continue posting on here without paying any Vendio fees. i haven't used any Vendio services in a couple of years either.
you know, taking one's life back from eBay is a really nice feeling. we have been weaning ourselves off of eBay for the past several months and it feels WONDERFUL! i would never go back to thinking about eBay 24/7 now, as it sometimes felt that i used to do.

I will have to check out what it takes to keep posting here I know you need the credit card but if I cancel my account won't I loose my name here? I will have to think some more about stop selling but am not going to let it run my life as in past. LOL It got to be 24/7 with me too but of late I have backed way off and sells have plumited. I have been having that 6th sense thing about ebay for a while saying get out. It is hard to do. (grin)
But coming here is not one of the things I want to quit so yall will see me around. Maybe I should sleep more on all this. LOL I am worlds worst procrastinator when it comes to stopping a bad habit. (ebay not this board) LOL

I still have the same ID name and password when I first signed up and I started with Vendio when it was Auctionwatch and just getting started and hosting was free. In fact the guy who began it was even sending personal emails to those who signed up inquiring about which auction site we preferred and why. Think this was way back in 1998 or early 1999. Suspect that if posting to the boards were limited to those who used the service now, the boards would die off snce the pros who use the services have neither the time nor inclination to do any chatting.

The name of the seller was Magazine-Ave. They were only sellers since 1/07 but did have a fair amount of only positive feedbacks. Once this happened I went & looked at the specific feedbacks & saw several were books about becoming a power seller, auctions, etc...guess next time I buy I will look more in depth at teh feedbacks even if the rating is 100%.
Irked I suppose this seller could also be operating under multiple names and all their accounts were shut down.
Below is the response I got from them:
"Hello. As of right now, you should have received an email from Ebay informing you that our Ebay store has been temporarily suspended. We don't want our buyers to just received email from Ebay without us giving our side of the story.
Ebay temporarily suspended our account due to a simple listing violation, we included our website address http://www.magazine-ave.com on all our items which Ebay claims is a direct violation since we included a non-ebay link even though the website address is forwarded directly to our Ebay store. They had warned us previously of the situation and we responded to them and explained to them that the link is directly forwarded to my Ebay store. They keep sending the same email the whole week this week and we just ignored it hoping they got our response email.
Today, we just received a TEMPORARY suspension email from Ebay informing us that our account is suspended due to listing violation and they can't discuss the concerns with us since it's a weekend and we have to wait on Monday to talk to the Trust and Safety Harbor department.
We can assure you that your order was processed successfully and forwarded to the clearinghouse. We will be relisting all items once Ebay re-activates our account.
We do apologize for the inconvenience and please bare with us while we resolve this concerns with Ebay.

Magazine-Ave seems like a good seller - no negs from buyers. Most of their feedback came from buying 1 cent auctions. ebay pulled their listing, but you can find them cached on google. I think their only listing violation may have been having their email address in their auctions (ebay only now allows links to webforms for email contact).

well my magazine seller has not responded though PP says waiting for reply it was immediately expedited as it said unable to contact seller. Now that is redundant to say the least keep it in pending waiting for response from seller when in process it said expedited claim due to unable to contact seller. What does that mean anyway. I never had to file a charge back at PP so is this a normal process? According to their explanation of the process it is only expedited when the other person does not reply after 10? days. Oh well I predict I won't get any money back and will be surprised if I get the magazine.
Well I got sucked back in listing LOL did the promotion thing to see if I can get rid of some things that I just don't want to put in GS. I can see me listing for another year at this rate of not wanting to put things in just a plain old GS. Maybe I am feeling somewhat better with everyone's support here I do feel better about things, just hope sells do pick up..

When you file a complaint with Paypal,initially Paypal does not want to get involved,it gives both parties 10 days to communicate and work out a solution.
But since the seller never respond,there is no solution,so now Paypal steps in and will review the case,you will probably get your money back,if there is any money in his account???

I just got over a dispute with PayPal. It took them 6 weeks to finally tell me I could get my money back, (maybe) but I had to pay postage each way. I dropped the whole dispute but left her an email telling her how I felt. If I leave her neg feedback she will just reciprocate so why do it.

chathamsue I got my refund yesterday and yep got the money put back into my account. Nice they did that and I figured the hacked account would have no money available for me to get back.
I am happier camper today, Sold some things on that selling place LOL ebay and am sucked back in. My oh my, I am easily sucked in I guess. I just have a huge shop full of items not put on as yet and can't part with them for garage sell prices. There is stuff out there I forgot all about and still have not gone through it totally so guess I will keep selling for time being anyway.
