Tonight I listed 4 small auctions but my pictures are not showing up, with exception of the free ones. I use the HTML tab, not the Standard tab, to place my descriptions.

Here's an example of how I list my pictures:
*<img src=http://img87.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sears1hwe0.jpg> (I don't include the *).

I've never had a problem doing this until now. What do I need to do to fix this? I really don't want to pay another $1.00 to eBay per auction to add additional pictures.

You are using the wrong URL for the image (you are linking to the hosting page for the image).

try:
<img src=http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/3930/sears1hwe0.jpg>

You're right.... I was using the wrong links. Got them all changed.
