I sold a piece of china that arrived broke. I paid for the insurance on the package and have the receipt. How do I collect the insurance as the customer wants a refund?

Since you have the proof of insurance, you should file the form, sign your name and mail him the form and the proof of insurance,do it soon.
Tell him not to throw anything away, sign the form and take everything to the post office.
If it is a small amount, they may give him the money there.

If you did everything on line, you can email her the information. The label should say insured but the USPS will want proof of payment for the items and the insurance. But remember every post office is different.
I had a not so bright buyer who used a not so knowledgeable post office - they keep telling her that I need to send my insurance slip so she could file. I keep saying I don't have one as I did this on line - here's my email from the USPS site stating that I paid insurance - plus the box was marked insured. I think she finally gave up - I know I did.
