This isn't really ebay related, but I guess it is if you carry any type of inventory.
My bf runs an airboat repair business. It can really be quite profitable. The problem is that the business is in utter chaos. He just orders and orders parts without knowing what he has on hand. There is no real bookkeeping system setup. Don't ask me how he has done it like this for so long! Anyway, he wants to move this business forward and get organized, and he wants me to manage the bookkeeping and inventory.
Can someone suggest some inventory management software that, once it's setup, will automatically deduct the parts once an invoice is run up? In other words, I don't want to manually deduct each part every time he fixes a boat. I want to be able to run up the invoice and have the parts deducted from the inventory automatically. Also, if it runs P&L Statements, that would be a real plus. Does anyone know of good, reliable and easy-to-learn software to meet my needs?
