Huh. Have you thought about eBay? Sorry, but I can't think of any better venue to find a post card buyer for your lot! Do a completed search and you will get some idea of pricing and the kinds of cards in the lot that will bring you more money. Postcard lots at conventional auctions usually don't bring very much, and there's most likely a 25% commission.

You could probably sell it in this forum if the pricing is similar to eBay lots. What size are they? (Many of us don't want the larger modern cards). What era are they? Chrome (c 1950 (earliest 1939) - on) Linen (c 1930 - 1950) or earlier than 1930? What topics are they? Holidays, greetings, b/w real photos, towns, cities, hotels/motels, highways, mountains/scenic. What countries or states? Without additional information, I would pay $15 for the lot. You could get quite a bit more with good scans and descriptions.

Thanks birgittaw, I do not want to sell them on ebay, and I do not like to contact dealers through ebay to dealers who sell them, it may cause problems?? I know there are several on this chat board who do sell cards and if they want to contact me that would be great. You know feebay may not get a commission LOL

Gasguy, without scans, I would be willing to pay $40.00 plus reasonable shipping for them as long as there is no musty smell.

niel35, I did not want this, so anyone who is interested, PLEASE use my email, and not use the list. I just do not have anyone's address to contact them direct, that was what I wanted to start with LOL
Who knows, maybe we could start some competition for ebay ?? LOL

I've sold a "lot" of things like matchbook covers and gotten good prices for them.
