Hi, all. Since getting my new computer, I listed a couple of auctions today. Typing the descriptions, and then previewing them, I see a typeface that I cannot stand, too big, too blocky. I don't know where to change that, if possible. Any suggestions?

If you list through Vendio there is a font drop down window above the description box. You can choose a font there.

If you use Vendio's Sales Manager to list, click on the Use HTML Editor box on top of the desciption box (right side). Then click on the font family tab on top desciption box. They have a number of fonts to choose from and it will generate the html code automatically.

As always, thanks! I sure don't want to have to opt for MY typeface and size every time I write a description. And what bugs me is that years ago when I first started with Vendio, I chose Times New Roman - somewhere - and I haven't had to mess with it since!
I write directly into the listing page and don't want to cut and paste my descriptions, etc. I know I sound lazy, but it works best for me to do it as I've always done it.
I'm going to the Sales Manager in Vendio to see if there's another way. Otherwise, I'll opt each time with html for the font size and typeface. Hmmmm.

Adele - it is very simple to change fonts when you use the HTML Editor in Vendio Sales Manager. Simple highlight the text and select the drop down "Font Family" (your friend Times New Roman" is there) You can also use the drop down to change the size of the text. There are also familiar editing tools like Bold, Underline etc at the top of the Text Editor.

Neglus: Sigh. I guess I'm spoiled. What I want is the very same font and font size for every single auction. I used to have that! It's a time waster to have to go in and choose it for all the dozens of listings I do every month. Waaaaaa.

HMM. Getting a new computer shouldn't change your fonts or anything (your preferences should be saved online with Vendio and would stay the same on all computers.)
The only place I think of to set your font preference for the whole she-bang is in the Template Workshop->Overall Properties->Preset font schemes and you can get to that from the "custom template" in My Account->Sales Manager. You probably will have to set the overall properties for each one of your saved templates

I just remembered when I got my 19" flat panel monitor I was shocked at how big and bold everything looked. You might try adjusting the size of your viewing font (CTRL KEY and MINUS SIGN to make smaller - or if you have scrolling mouse you can push down CTRL and use the mouse wheel to adjust montior font size). I had to adjust the brightness of my monitor too - it was all too much!

Neglus - that idea may work - preset font schemes. I'll also check to see if I have to fix ALL my templates then, too. (Yikes)
Yeah, my 19" screen is really bigger than I'll ever need. Hubby thought he was doing me a favor by ordering it because HE has one. There must be a limit to how big a screen should be. Like with TV sets--unless you have a projection room, who needs the great big ones?!!! My 36" is puhlenty big.

Voila - (or "viola," as a fellow worker used to say). I've changed the template I use the most to times new roman. Tomorrow I'll tackle the other 15 or so!! Thanks so much for your help.
