ok so you've got the long awaited package from that widget you bought off ebay....and it arrives wrapped in duct tape!
Wait - it gets better! On the inside of the duct wrapped package the widget is carefully packaged in bubble wrapped and sealed with a half a roll of ....painters tape! That high dollar blue stuff.
I just had to laugh and remember when I used to have to stand in line at the post office and some guy would come in with his package all ready to mail and it would proudly be wrapped in duct tape.

A couple of Christmasses ago I was packing my humongous package of presents to family in Oregon (as usual I was mailing on the very last day that Priority mail could be sent and arrive in time for the holiday) and discovered that I had no more packing tape.
"Never fear" I thought"I'll use duct tape!". I know for a fact that duct tape, once exposed to sub-zero Minnesota temperatures DOES NOT seal a package.
Thank God the PO had that wonderful priority tape and the counter-guy actually let me use it or Pixiamom would have gotten coal in her stocking from me
