MAPPING YOUR CUSTOMERS and SHOWING LOCATIONS in auctions. Found this on a current auction-160124403128. Was wondering if the "big selling guys/gals" here have tried it. Do you think it would be worth the price?

That's the weirdest thing I've seen. Why would a seller want to do this?

Click on the info link for the Map Counter. $70 a year if you have over 5000 feedback. The map showed how few international sales the seller has - how is that supposed to increase his international business? Not worth a penny IMHO.

like we have time to enter sale after sale into this, while they sit back and collect $$$$

I've seen this on a couple of auctions. My first reaction as a buyer was "who cares"??

I've been noticing it for over a week and find it very distracting and unattractive.
Who but your competition would care where you are shipping to if your shipping terms are clearly stated?

Okay I think it is kind of interesting for your own personal knowledge. I wouldn't spend a dime on it though...you could easily produce the same results for free with a good pic program like Fireworks. No big deal creating that one.

It is kind of interesting. I could see the benefit as a seller knowing where your customers are at, but I don't think it is productive to use up web space on my auction page for something like this. All it would do is make your auction page load slower which in turn could drive your potential customer away.

I agree = it's mildly interesting as a seller but not something I would pay extra money to have.
