Hi, all: We are desperate to find an 18-inch white dishwasher for our kitchen. They're getting harder to find all the time. We ordered one and it arrived broken and now it's no longer in production. The closest Sears doesn't have any of theirs right now, either, and can't get them.
We know nothing about Danby products; it's a Canadian company, and they're offering a couple of models in 18-inch. Anyone here have experience with Danby appliances? Thanks in advance.

I don't know anything about Danby but I do know that LG from Best Buy stands for Lucky Goldstar. Remember Goldstar TV's and VCR's that broke? They've upgraded their production line and have become a major player in appliances.

We live about 50 miles from the Danby factory. I have never heard anything negative about the products, we see many of their appliances in our local stores. We have had a Danby air conditioner for several years, and it works great.
