I tryed to call Ebay Power Seller Telephone # 866-515-3229. There is no way you can get thru to speak to a human anymore. I wanted to complain about there new feedback system on handling charges etc.. Totally, unfair stupid system. Does any body out there have a telephone of Ebay that I can talk to a human?? The buyer just chips away at those stars and we the seller don't now what the hell is going on. I don't even want to give the buyers feedback anymore. What are your thoughts???

I have refused power seller status several times, but I had decided that next time I would accept, just because of being able to talk to someone. eBay is so hard to communicate with, even to email, you have to go through all those categories, and they never seem to apply to my question. Now I guess I won't bother.

I'm going to adopt lack of adequate telephone support as my new pet peeve. I've managed large combined sales and customer service departments in the past and know that superb customer service more than pays for itself.

Somehow, the role of customer service has deteriorated to the point of major corporations farming out their customer service to India, or offering only online service where fixes can be easily clicked in. Perhaps great for the majority of problems, but the ones that require intelligent one-on-one telephone help still exist, and I'm convinced, will more than pay for themselves. My experience with Microsoft India was horrendous - I'll never go THAT route again!

45 minute "wait times" with 3 different doctor/dental clinics is my newest gripe. How many people simply drop their appointments rather than reschedule them because of the long delay? Is a receptionist's time worth more than the doctors'?

I'm not a huge eBay seller, but I often pay them more than $50/day. Why wouldn't they want me up and listing - to save on customer service expense?

Edited to add: Failed to mention positive experiences with customer support. T-mobile network coverage really sucks but I wouldn't think of leaving them because their customer service is exquisite. Surprise! The other company is PayPal, I have always found their telephone support people responsive, intelligent and helpful.

Try our Texas Electric service help in India or Ford Motor Credit help in India.

After listening to their Queen's English, I give up.

What is happening to our country when corporations farm out their help departments to India! Pitiful.

This is a vicious circle, since we cant talk to any human,so we just have to roll out more junks and they see all we have are junks, they dont bother to hire more human.

I was so hoping that ebay live would get so many complaints about ebay's one sided star rating system that they would reconsider.
Did anyone go to ebay live? Was the star system a topic?
The last time I tried to call ebay - all the numbers I had were useless. I never got to talk to a human at all.

Pix... I agree about Paypal I have NEVER had a bad experience with their customer service staff. I would add Time Warner and Verizon. I have used both as ISP and telephone service and they have both been terrific... I ADD "KNOCK ON WOOD"
Nothing absolutely nothing pi--es me off, makes me more cranky than push 1, push 4, push 5 OH your problem is not on the list, start again and listen harder!!

My #s for ebay are
1-800-322-9266
1-888-749-3229
1-408-558-7400

Those are the non powerseller #s I have hope one of them works for you bregmanl

I don't know if it works with ebay (believe it or not I haven't had to call in years and years), but Pixiamom told me to just push "0" to get connected to a human operator (worked with the government anyway)

I can tell you this you are certainly right about Feedbacks people are VERY cruel no matter what you do to accomadate them. It's bad enough we have to deal with the Idiots that are into Fraudulent transactions let alone the people that do buy something, from you. I also, can't believe that we pay for a service and can't get through to a live human being. Believe me, if they needed to get in touch with us they have no problem. Sorry, i don't have a contact number for you.
