An elderly friend of mine has some stemware/crystal that belonged to her mother-in-law...she says it dates from the 1920's. She knows neither the maker nor the pattern name (I don't either) and haven't a clue where to start looking to identify it. Can anyone give me any advice? I'm attaching a couple of photos on the off-chance someone recognizes it. Thanks!

Very pretty glass!
But I'm terrible when it comes to glass. Sorry!

It is a pretty set...but I'm absolutely clueless as to how to find info when neither the maker nor the pattern name is known. Hopefully, someone can point me in the right direction...thanks!

More likely from the 50's - 60's. It has a safety rim. Check the Libby listings.

Thanks for the help...I checked Replacements.com...I didn't know that they had a free pattern identification service so sent them photos. Hopefully, they'll be able to help. Appreciate the guidance...learn something new every day here!

Max was correct on this. For anyone who may be interested, Replacements identified the maker/pattern as Libbey in the Glenmore pattern #3001. It's called Gray Cut Floral and dates from 1955. It's a discontinued pattern and there are a few currently on eBay. Thanks for all the help and guidance...appreciate it and especially the tip that Replacements can help identify unknown patterns/makers.

Interesting, great to know where to find out pattern ID. I hate trying to figure out patterns through my limited books. Thanks for the info.

Repl. has loads of info. Go through it all and you will see. once you get the manufacturer you can go to the left and click on the pics and go through to try to identify you pattern.
Up on the right you can enter info and they will show you what they have. I use them frequently. Thanks Replacements !!!!!!!

I have a love/hate relationship with vintage glass. So much of it is SOOOO pretty BUT when neither the maker nor the pattern name is known, it's almost impossible to find out information since most books are arranged by either the maker or pattern name. I was delighted to find out that Replacements will identify patterns and makers so it was GREAT new information for me as well! Thanks, Replacements, from me too!
