Trying to decide if I should list for 3, 5, or 7 days using eBay's promo. What do you all think the best strategy.

If I were taking advantage of this offer, I'd list for 5 days (or 3 if I had a HOT item). With 5 days, the auction will end Monday evening. With 7, everyone else's auctions would also end when mine did.

If you do a BIN or FP, it will end when someone bids, could be tomorrow!!

I think the promo is for auction type only. I listed for 3 and 5 days. Watch your listings, only about half of mine launched as scheduled. I had to manually launch the rest.

It's for fixed price, too.

Whew...I'm done! I always list mine manually as I like to space them about 2 minutes apart to encourage buyers to keep on going. The scheduler just dumps a batch when it can get in.

I listed some this morning for 5 days and some this evening for 7 days. I considered 3 days but then forgot about it. Oh well...next time.

Good luck to everyone who listed today.

With mostly relists today (that way, I don't have to worry about removing gallery before the second listing), I was tempted to list all at fixed price. However, one of the main functions of my auction listings is to drive traffic to my store. I chose a mix of fixed price and 7-day auctions. Hopefully, the $.35 fee with a 9.99 starting price cap will limit the postcard sellers who dump 5,000+ items to auction on 20 cent listing days.
