Yes, thanks, Marcia! After those first auctions I ran a couple of months ago, with one Christmas card (martin & lewis) bringing $921, I had high hopes. It's funny--nowadays, when a card brings $120, I'm thinking, this is Elvis--what's WRONG with these people?! It's all a matter of perspective, isn't it! Still, I've made about $2400 on my initial investment of $20, selling about 10 cards etc. so far. I'm lying low until September now.

Neva: Okay, then, I feel better about the Elvis prices. I suppose he was so huge in the world that there were exponentially more memorabilia produced.

I have one of these when I saw the king in Vegas in Feb 1971.I was there for 2 weeks
and saw him 7 times. The last night I was there I gave the waiter a $10.00 tip and he seated me at the first table near center stage-I was only 15 feet from the dude-wish I had a camcorder back then

Aw shucks, thanks. There is just NO accounting for the vagaries of eBay--we're up one moment, down the next. Sometimes I actually wish I were selling the same widget over and over and had some good idea how well I'd do every week. It would be mind-numbing--but reliable.
One of our friends here wanted that pendant but was outbid in the last hour or so.
