A friend is VERY anxious to buy Harry Potter books in Arabic. There is a set of 6 on e-bay with one bid. $29.29 ($50 shipping)
I have no experience with selling to or buying from Egypt. Any particular advice or comments?

You can buy from Amazon, but more like $20 each and not sure they're all available. For 6, that would be around $12 or so each. Not bad if you look at total price. Pay with a credit card so if something goes wrong, you get everything back -- in this case you want to be covered for shipping.

Not necessarily true. Check with your credit card issuer before you bid. Some cards do not guarantee international transactions.
. When your ship comes in.... make sure you are willing to unload it. .

Talk about intl transactions,I just received my AMEX statement and there are 13 small transactions in Brazilian currency the cruizeros.
I have never been to Brazil so I disputed them,AMEX said fine!
If you want to buy from this Egyptian, use Paypal for your protection.
