Seems that a while back someone posted about not closing a dispute until the items had been shipped and received - not just when paid. They stated a good reason but I can't remember what it was?
I filed a NPB on a guy who has since paid. He has all ready sent me 4 email about closing the dispute. I guess I should - but to close it I have to say we have completed the transaction and we have not.

I had one of those buyers recently. Told her that the dispute staying open in no way affects her standing with eBay, and I'd close it when her pc cleared. Which reminds me, since I already shipped her item, I should close the dispute.

He used confirm paypal and has some recent bad FB so mine maybe locking him out?
I guess I should close it but 4 emails - give me a break.

I would definitely wait until the package is received. Ideally, I would wait until after feedback was left but I know better than to ask for that so an 'item received everything is fine' email would probably suffice.
I would not respond to any other kind of email. If he is locked out it is his fault, not yours. Maybe this is the time for him to learn how not to behave like a p#@$* on eBay.

If he is locked out, it is NOT because of you. You won't lock him out until you complete the NPB. Frankly, I would cancel the NPB when you were damm good and ready. And not until.
