Have just recently purchased a Dell Computer, the size of the pictures require me tp scroll to the right to view everything. I have looked/tryed everything I know and can't seem to make things smaller. If help/assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Have you tried changing the resolution?
Start, Control Panel, Appearance & Themes, Change Screen Resolution. ( With XP, don't know is Vista is the same}
Edited to add--
I had the same problem with my old 17" screen. Purchased a wide screen 22", and thought this is great! When ever I looked at a round object, it appeared egg shaped. I had to revert to narrow view again to get the picture back in perspective. I don't have to scroll sideways, but have 2 black spaces along side the screen view. Oh well--
