i don't have a picture of it, cuz i saw it at a yard sale this morning, and i'm not sure if it was a good buy (for resale)... it's a pink depr. glass bowl, with 'handle' on each side in the shape of a bird facing outwards. does anyone know this piece and/or which glass company made them? thanks in advance.

edited to add, i couldn't find anything like that on ebay. [ edited by aintrichyet on Sep 21, 2007 07:17 AM ]

Listings from those with 3 feedback selling "Depression" glass are almost always suspect in my book.

Good think you found a few pictures for those who can determine the maker, etc. It would be nearly impossible without it.

Good luck.

There's another one on ebay. This one is green. "Guaranteed original" Doesn't state original what.

Hi. Your bird bowl is a reproduction.

To be a reproduction, there has to be an original. Hers is a fantasy piece.

I know this piece. I have one just like it. I put it in an auction in perfect condition. A lady won it and when she picked it up after the auction was over, she complained that it was broken. Sure enough the beak on one of the birds was chipped off. I was out money because of their carelessness and rough handling but nothing they would do about it. Still have it but will put it in a garage sale soon.
