So I'm kicking around the idea of listing an extra old vehicle on Ebay Motors...I understand there's some sort of loophole there whereby I can cancel the auction should a local buyer come through. Anyone know about this? Any other pointers? Thanks in advance.

I sold lots of Antique Cars on Ebay Motors but never thought to end the auction even if someone is local.

If you care to end the auction then just use " end auction".....but you could loose money buy ending it too soon.

Yes just use the end auction now option and cancel all bids BUT may sure you disclose that you reserve the right to end the auction. And of course you lose your listing fees.

Watch out for the scam emails. I spent the last 5 years running internet sales for a local dealer and the scammers come out of the woodwork when you list a car on eBay.

I would suggest that you check out autotrader.com I never had much luck with eBay motors but Autotrader brought in business from all over the US and Canada.
