YaHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. That game was terrific. I feel sorry for Cleveland, falling apart as they did. (Or was it just the superior skill of Boston??)

From Ellen Goodman on the coming Supreme Court case re lethal injection:
...as the Supreme Court takes up this issue again, I remember what Justice Harry Blackmun said after a 20-year struggle about just ways to administer the death penalty: "From this day forward, I no longer shall tinker with the machinery of death."
We are still tinkering. This time, we're tinkering with the dosage and the training. Tinkering with competence and mistakes. We are tinkering, tinkering, tinkering to avoid the possibility that we can't have our death penalty and our humanity, too.

I grew up in Northern New Hampshire very much a part of Red Sox's Nation. I lived 26 years in Denver.. now 5 back in NH. I am very happy I can't loose! It's either the best world series of all time or the worst for me! We put a Red Sox's Yard sign on one end of the front yard and a Rockies on the other. People either think we are extraordinarily fair people OR NUTS
I just want a good nail biter of a series like last nights game. No Sweeps either way.
Man am I tired!
TOM "DA PEBBLES" SHOW SOME RESPECT PLEASE THE ROCKIES ARE THE NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPS!!!
