I want to add to my listings for buyers to add me to their favorites list. I can do it if I list directly on eBay for store listing, but it won't let me paste and copy the link. How do I get it to add it to all my listings please?

Here's the link I use:

<p><a href="http://my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?AcceptSavedSeller&amp;sellerid=*****" target="_blank">PLEASE CLICK HERE TO ADD ME TO YOUR FAVORITE STORE SELLER LIST!</a>

Put your id where the "***" are

Thank you Neglus, I really appreciate it. I have searched and searched, and just couldn't find it. Sometime eBay doesn't make things very easy.

oops, not the one I wanted. I want buyers to be able to add ME to their favourites link, this one just takes me to the list who already have.

Ebay provides this link automatically on every listing. It's on the right side under Ask Seller a Question

Yes, I know it is there, but I don't think it is really clear. I have seen several auctions where the buyer has "Click on this list to be added to my favorites list *****" I think that makes it much clearer, I just don't know how to find the link.

That may be hard to do. I think the click is not a link to an address, but launches a mini-application which updates My Favorites. I can add it in eBay stores. Can you show a non-stores listing that has it?

Try this one - putting seller name where the astericks are:

<p><a href="http://my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?AcceptSavedSeller&sellerid=*******&storename=default&myfavlogin=0">PLEASE CLICK HERE TO ADD ME TO YOUR FAVORITE SELLER LIST!</a>

I tested it by using a seller's id WITH a store and one without (just paste the URL part in the browser window to test)and it works! Had no idea mine wasn't working! LOL

Neglus, I really appreciate your help. I am afraid that you are dealing with a middle-aged computer ignoramus here! I don't know which is the "URL part". I tried putting in my user ID and store name and sent it on an email, but it was not clickable.

Amber - check it out by copying and pasting this in your browser. The "Url part" (I am not a techie genius either - that's just what I call it) is the part between the quotes: " ". The rest of the HTML is referral so buyers will see the words "CLICK HERE (ETC)" but will be directed to the url:

I put Neglus in because I probably am not on your favorites. You of course would use your own id where the *** are if you put this in your listing:

<p><a href="http://my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?AcceptSavedSeller&sellerid=*******&storename=default&myfavlogin=0">PLEASE CLICK HERE TO ADD ME TO YOUR FAVORITE SELLER LIST!</a>

Neglus: I don't know what I am doing wrong, but I finally got it to come up, but it was the list of people I have on my own favorites list, instead of the link so that they can put themselves on MY favorite list. Man, the brain gets slow when you're nearly 65!
